The Gene Siskel Film Center presents its 11th Annual Black Harvest International Festival of Film and Video, August 4-25, sponsored by Target, NBC-5, and American Airlines. Chicago’s annual showcase for films that probe and celebrate black culture worldwide, the festival offers a provocative slate of more than 25 brand-new productions, including dramas, comedies, documentaries, shorts, and Chicago-made independent films.
